Workshop description Consensual non-consent - Fantasy Rape Scenes Fantasies about being raped or raping someone are prevalent - just open the pages of Cosmo or watch an episode of Law & Order for proof of how many people think of this edgy, dangerous topic. While real rape is reprehensible, fantasy rape offers real opportunities to explore the darker side of your psyche while still having the 'protection' of a negotiated, consensual relationship. In this workshop we'll discuss the appeal of rape fantasies from the perspective of the rapist and the victim in an effort to unwrap the mystery of the fantasy, and find the key triggers to making the scene as successful and realistic as possible, while still maintaining the respect and safety inherent in a consensual scene. We'll discuss realistic, practical ways of bringing fantasies to life, including negotiation, strategies to get what you want out of the scene, potential pitfalls and areas to avoid, and some of the legal issues worth considering before engaging in fantasy rape play.
