Workshop
description
Furniture
Making
For this workshop
we're gonna get hot & sweaty
(sounds
good already, right?) Along with our instructor, we're going to
start with a discussion about what makes good play furniture - style,
size, and construction traits. Then we're going to get busy making
something! Not everything will likely be completed on site (upholstery,
staining, etc will have to be done at a later date) but you'll have
a good start on creating your own play furniture to use, give as
a gift, or to try to explain to your landlord
For this workshop there will be some pre-planning required to pick
which item we want to make. You will then be sent a materials list,
and will be expected to have what you need on site. Tools will be
available, however feel free to bring your own, as well as snacks
and drinks to keep you alert and hydrated. This workshop will take
place at a private residence, and space is a concern, thus the class
size will be limited. Groups, teams, and pairs are highly encouraged.
This workshop is upcoming. If you would like to teach this class
(or know someone who should), please contact us at p3gatherings
@ gmail. com.
