Workshop description

Sticks & Stones (Words & Language)
In this workshop we're going to explore the power of the words we chose. Some words hurt, some are pleasurable, and sometimes it's easy to confuse the two. Our presenter for this workshop will discuss the power of words, and we'll have a round table discussion about words that affect us, and how they differ from person to person. We'll also go over things like names and titles, and why these words have power within our community. Please bring a pen and paper to this workshop for the interactive part.
